This exquisite collection caught my eye at Dallas market. Each piece is unique, numbered and stamped, handmade in Louisiana with original molds using an age-old process known as sand-casting. The design is imprinted into the sand and a light cement-based medium is then poured into the imprint. No two castings are ever the same.
The stones are suitable for indoor or covered outdoor use. Please note the finish will fade some if exposed to the elements (some people prefer the weathered look). The finish may be preserved with a cement water proofing product. NOTE: Exposure to severe temperatures may cause cracking.
This gorgeous clock-shaped piece is called 'Angel of Time' and has a sweet angel face framed and held up by two smaller angels below. The bottom portion has a rose in a vase. More roses are on the top. Outer edges are accented with swirls and scrolls. The cast iron uneven finish gives it an aged plaster look. This piece measures 19 1/2" tall and is 8 1/2" wide. It has a hanger mounted on the back.
